Looking for a way to keep your child active, engaged, and having fun while school is out on Monday, October 14th?
Then sign them up for our Columbus Day Karate Activity Camp!
What are the hours of the camp?
The main activities take place from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. But you can drop off as early as 8 am and pick as late as 6 pm.
What will my child do at the camp?
Campers will do cardio workouts and a 30-minute karate class. Throughout the day we do a lot of other exercise disguised as games to keep the kids active. Character development is a very important part of our camps. During this camp, we’ll focus on the theme of courtesy. We’ll have discussions about courtesy, do activities related to courtesy, and complete written and arts projects related to courtesy.
Is this an intensive sports training camp?
No, it’s not an intensive training camp. It’s an activity camp that incorporates elements of karate and fitness. So kids stay active, but they’re not literally working out every hour of the day.
Is this camp only open to existing Urban Martial Arts students?
No, this camp is open to all children – not just those already enrolled in our other programs. No previous karate experience is necessary.
Is lunch included in the camp?
No, all campers must pack their own lunch, snacks, and a water bottle.
What age students are eligible to participate in the camp?
The camp is open to students aged 4 and up.
What’s the tuition for the camp?
It’s $99 per child. Each additional sibling can come for just $75.
