"My son first started at Urban Martial Arts back in 2012, however, due to financial issues, I had to stop his classes. He rejoined UMA last November 2014 due to discipline issues at school and at home and I didn't know what else to do. I decided to give UMA another try. Within weeks of attending UMA, both his teacher and myself recognized a significant change in his behavior. He enjoys UMA a lot, especially the black stripes he receives for submitting his assignments, oh and the purple stripes for excellent performance puts him on cloud nine. Since I noticed such great attitude in my son, I decided to sign up for the summer camp at UMA. I tell you this is the last week of camp and not one day have I had a complaint or issue in the morning to attend camp. The summer camp is AWESOME, from drop off in the morning the warm welcoming smiles, the kids playing, the counselors saying have a great day. This is the environment our kids need. Since he's been attending the camp, my son's confidence level has increased from 0-6 and that's a great improvement. Sensei Serge, Sensei Wyatt, Carmen and the entire UMA Staff, thank you for your patience and dedication with all the kids. This place transformed my little guy and I'm enjoying his journey.
