What are the hours of the camp?
The main activities take place from 9:30 am to 4:30 pm. But you can drop off as early as 8 am and pick as late as 6 pm.

What will my child do at the camp?
The activities at this camp will be based on the values that Dr. King promoted: non-violence, equality, justice, and working to create positive change in the world. We’ll hold group discussions, do age-appropriate written projects, and create arts and crafts projects. Of course, we like to keep our kids active so we’ll also be playing a lot of games that will allow them to run around burn off energy!

Is this camp only open to existing Urban Martial Arts students?
No, this camp is open to all children – not just those already enrolled in our other programs.

Will my child do any karate at the camp?
No, this is strictly an activity camp. Though the kids will get exercise in the form of games, there will be no karate training.

Is lunch included in the camp?
No, all campers must pack their own lunch, snacks, and a water bottle. We will provide water and extra snacks if your child needs them.

What age students are eligible to participate in the camp?
The camp is open to students aged 4 to 13.

What’s the tuition for the camp?
The regular tuition for the camp is $70, but if you register by Wednesday, January 11th you’ll get the early-bird rate of $49!

My child is already an Urban Martial Arts student. How do I register them for the camp?
We can charge the tuition to the debit or credit card we have on file for you – just call us at 718-287-5500. Or if you’d prefer to pay by cash or check, you can do that at the front desk.

My child is not a student at Urban Martial Arts. How do I register them for the camp?
Just come in to Urban Martial Arts to fill out the paperwork and pay the tuition by cash, credit card, or check.
